The results of the 5th Panorama Top 250 of the French software publishers and creators have been published!
XWiki SAS is ranked 255th overall (we hope to be in the Top 250 next year) and 115th in its category, "Horizontal" publishers proposing a general offer to all the sectors of activity.
From the information outlined in the overview (which I invite you to discover here), we learned that:
- the sector is dynamic and "confirms its leading role for the whole French economy" (17% growth in 2014, with a 10.5 billion euros turnover!).
- SMEs have recorded an average increase of 25% in their activity
- French software companies have created more than 15,000 jobs
- 82% of the software companies plan to hire in the next months
- SMEs maintain their R&D efforts around 20% of turnover (compared to 11% in large companies)
- the numbers of R&D teams remain 3/4 in France and 77% of publishers have chosen the CIR (as is our case)
