XWiki SAS

XWiki is a young innovative enterprise created in 2004 and was visionary in the use of wikis. Either you are an enterprise or a community, our professional solutions will answer to your every collaboration need. With thousands of enterprises using our products, XWiki is the leader of collaborative Open Source solutions for enterprises.

History

XWiki was founded on the 19th of July 2003 by Ludovic Dubost. The aim of the enterprise is to supply collaborative Open Source solutions that allow users to work better together.

At NetValue, Ludovic Dubost and his team used the wikis very often. They were offering interesting features, but the possibilities to create applications within the wiki (forum, blog, task manager, etc.) were insufficient for a professional and scalable use.

In the mean time, he decided to leave NetValue and launch the project XWiki: an Open Source software incorporating the features that make its strength today.

A start-up both French, European and international

XWiki SAS is a French start-up based in Paris and has more than thirty collaborators around the world: France, Sri Lanka, Romania, Russia...

XWiki SAS has:

  • An European structure thanks to its team in Iasi (Romania) and its involvement in different European research projects.
  • An international structure thanks to the cultural diversity of its 90 developers that are part of its community: Sri-Lanka, United States, Russia, etc.
This mix is a true wealth for our society.
