About the position
Integrated with the Support & QA team, you will be working on several aspects of the support services in the objective of filling in the following missions:
- Provide clients support and technical solutions (via mail, instant messaging, phone or conferencing)
- Report development status to our clients
- Report issues to the development teams
- Report or dispatch tasks on complex issues
- Continuously have a general understanding of the XWiki product and the client environments
- Write technical documentation regarding common issues and procedures, both in French and in English
Technical requirements
- You have good programming skills and good database knowledge
- You have a working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, XML, Javascript, CSS, HTTP)
- You're aware of web server configuration (Apache Web server, Servlet containers)
- You know or can learn how to use JIRA (or a similar bug-tracking tool)
- You're aware of the software development cycle (requirements, specs, design, testing, deployment, maintenance, etc.)
Other expected skills
- Your verbal and written English skills allow a fluent communication with the international team
- French is considered a plus if you can write short and detailed descriptions of how our features work
- You're self motivated and eager to learn fast about pretty much anything we throw at you
- You know how to deliver on time - but you're not afraid to tell your manager when you're running late
