We put a high emphasis on education and constant development, as well as expressing creativity. When joining the company you will be assigned an unofficial mentor who will guide you through your first steps at XWiki. Internal trainings are organized periodically. We also help our employees accommodate school classes into their schedules by providing them with flexible working hours and even reducing workload if necessary. So even if you're a student, you may still join our team, provided you're a hard worker and your skills match our current openings.

We have a 20% Time program which allows our employees to work on a project of their choice that will benefit the XWiki product. This can be anything you're passionate about: from a feature, application, plugin, to a marketing project or a new skin. It's up to you to get the wheels moving and make a proposal.

Once a year we organize a Hackathon where we split in ad-hoc teams and work together on XWiki projects we're passionate about. Read about the 2011 Hackathon here.

What XWikiers say about joining the company

"

When I joined XWiki, I was pleasantly surprised by the work atmosphere both friendly and studious. I was quickly integrated with "the team". It's a very stimulating environment because everyone is an expert in his field. The 2 advantages of XWiki are undoubtedly the human side and the competence of its employees.

"

I was very happy to join XWiki because I was offered the chance to work with people I admire both professionally and personally. As an "XWikier" one has the opportunity to build great software on top of the XWiki platform and make the XWiki SAS clients happy, but also give back to the open source community.
