Wolters Kluwer

wolters120.jpg

Wolters Kluwer, leader of professional information tools, with more than 1500 products in their catalog, was confronted with the issue of adapting the product strategy.

What products were sold and why? Who was the competitor of each product? Were the products complementary? Were the products addressed to all markets? So many questions for which the marketing department wanted to come up with answers.

The task was huge for a department and minimum for the individual user. This is why the team took up the challenge to address the users directly.

Based on XWiki Enterprise, Wolters Kluwer made wiki sheets for every product and provided them to its employees. The sheets were used to collect strategic information and were exploited in a matrix for which variables evolved as tags.
