Collaboration is the core focus in XWiki, and we’re constantly working to enhance its means for our users. Arguably the greatest team collaboration ecosystem of all time, Slack is integrating a large number of third-party services. Some of these include Google Drive, Dropbox, Github and soon… XWiki.

What does this mean for the XWiki users?

For you, this means that very you’ll be able to say: “You just received that wiki page on Slack”. By integrating it, you'll never have to copy-paste links of wiki pages to notify and share with interested colleagues. XWiki does it for you, so you'll never miss updates ever again.

Real-Time Notifications In Slack - You will be able to receive real-time notifications about wiki pages creation, updates or edits, both in direct messages or in channels.

You will have the ability to connect and disconnect Slack from the wiki, and you can choose to receive notifications when:

  • pages are created
  • pages are edited
  • pages are deleted
  • attachments are added to a page
  • comments are added to a page

Do you want to be one of the first users who try out the new XWiki - Slack integration? Please leave us your e-mail, and we will notify you when the app is ready to use.
